What is in a smile? How much does a slap cost?

 Everyone is talking about it, the slap!

While Europe has become a war zone, America decided to host the Oscars with audience.

They were tired of the Pandemic.

It was tiresome to stay at home and not show off all that work on thier bodies and those expensive outfits.

It was just plain inconsiderate of everyone to expect them not to have a night off, to shine.

After all, that is what Hollywood is all about.

When the stars shine on the walkways of the ground floor of the productions who arrived in a city which almost never rains.

Important for camera crews in order to film those incredible stories.

Meanwhile, in Europe it has even been snowing on the fields while the tanks are being bogged down.

What do they want anyways, those two countries?

They want to have their way; one says his country is being torn in two.

The other says they were allowed to go free and independent.

Their own neighbors want the same thing, to go free and independent.

Ukraine should shut up and take it, let Donbas go. 

So, says, the Russians who just want peaceful negotiations.

They say the freedom seekers should be allowed their way, while eyeing those ports on their side of the board.

Who can blame them, they are a land locked country? 

They originated in Kiev with the whole river to use at their means.

Then they moved into the middle of nowhere for some reason.

Probably more centrally located for others and perhaps even a northern route existed around the Mongols.

The silk route was once of primary importance, now everything comes and goes through China via those ships, even the cars which were lost at sea on their sinking boat.

Those port cities are important to Russia, they have them in the North near the Artic, in the East near Japan, and in the west, wherever they can find them.

This opportunity of supporting a section which want to go independent and comes with port cities can be passed up.

It might not be the game plan nor the reason for the scrimmage between these two countries where people have a hard time telling who the enemy is, after all, even in America there are those who have one great-grandparent from Saint Petersburg and the other one from Kiev.

Who to vote for or worry about, it is a slap in the face, really to see their own people in such a position?

As for Hollywood, no one touches someone else.

And yet, there was a slap in the face.

Usually it is all smiles, everyone smiles, it costs all lot of money to make those films.

Money is spent on everything, especially the teeth. Those smiles cost more than one can imagine.

And yet there was a slap on the face.

Again, all that expense. 

Faces cost a lot of money as well, expensive procedures are done to make the faces look better and to keep age from creeping up on the important person.

Then there are those who come along with the star, the wives, the children and sometimes the parents.

They are worth money as well, although it is evident not as much time and money is spent on them.

There was even one woman with hair loss issues. It is not uncommon to see a woman with a shaved head.

But usually, they have a reason for shaving their head. A movie part or an illness such as Monaco's Charleene who had to go into treatment from her shaving her head for no apparent reason.

And there it was the slap in the face.

The best of the stars was present, and the awards were being presented despite the theatrics of some girls with no training for stage.

A professional step forward who knows what he is doing and spots the one thing that is going to irate.

 

A shaved head and on a female, he cracks a joke which is natural to him.

It was not received well, by the woman, and the man actually walked on stage and slapped the onstage entertainer. 

A slap on the face to one of his own and in front of a crowd.

The two gentlemen were both African ethnicity and should have handled their dispute elsewhere.

The main issue seemed to be his wife's name not being used by the other man.

A common enough mistake between those forced to associate due to ethnicity or religion or country of origin.

There it was, a slap out of nowhere, so unexpected.

And the crowd did nothing at all.

They just sat there and let the two men have it out.

The onstage entertainer had to proceed with his dialogue or monologue as if nothing had happened.

Meanwhile, the other couple were not even asked to leave the auditorium.

If it had been a white couple or a mixed race non-African couple, they would have been forced to vacate.

Instead, life went on and low and behold.

The slap turned into an apology.

The guy won the Oscar!

After all that, his getting out of his chair and going on stage over an insult to his wife.

(It turns out she claims female baldness, and just shaved it all off instead of paying for a wig.) 

He was left holding the trophy of a lifetime in his hand and crying for himself.

The slap that shook the world. 

As a white woman would be told in the same situation:

Now don't you feel silly!?

Wonder how the two men in Ukraine and Russia feel the same insults of a slap in the face, as one is taking a lot of verbal abuse and the other is frustrated because his country is being split in two and being bombed at the same time. 

Who should win? Or is there a winner in this situation? 

A slap which might alter the way the Oscars are presented and an apology which might not be accepted. 

The sad fate of a Presidents son

Many Presidents have pasts and many of make themselves into millionaires after their term in office.

Most of them have royal connections as secret descendants, as well as Indian Chiefs which is unstated. 

It is the children's fate that is uncertain.

One never knows what to do with them,

treating the girls as royalty for four years?

Or marry them off to millionaires is the only thing to be done.

The sons on the other hand have only one of two options,

Either one themselves or suffer the fate of a loser.

Even the girls who marry senators have difficulty being remembered except at special observances.

The Nixon girls made covers and history.

They each married well and fell into oblivion.

Chelsea married a doctor and is enormously rich despite her parents' failures after the Oval office.

Malia has done nothing but make matters worse for herself, not a single thing.

Caroline Kennedy married the worst and came out as an ambassador herself.

Her children now have the same fate as her brother.

What will become of her son?

Will her run of President or die tragically?

Now Adams and Bush both followed in thier fathers footsteps.

They got elected Presidents and became names to be remembered.

But is that enough.

What happened to some of the others.

Ulysses Grant was a famous General who came out of nowhere.

He won the impossible war of brother against brother.

Not unlike Ukraine versus Russia.

He then took Washington by storm and sat in the Oval office.

Sadly, his ambitiousness got the best of him, his administration was beset with woes.

Not unlike many others in his seat, so many assume or take advantage.

He died in poverty, having just completed his memoirs.

Mark Twain of all people agreed to edit them and produce them at cost.

His widow became wealthy overnight.

Her sons also did well in finance and real estate.

They had the education and degrees to have decent careers as lawyers or something else.

Instead they headed to California with the Gold rush and did quite well for themselves.

 

Jesse and Ulysses Jr arrived in the southern most city of San Diego with gold in their pockets.

Where or how they got it is unknown.

They did try their hand at several things and gold pan handling may have been one of them.

As it was, they came into a town that had already been robbed several times.

The Russians and Japanese had fishing villages, with remnants still visible.

The Californians were rough gangsters who took over from the fine Spanish lords and criminal Mexicans.

There were so many claims to the lands of the south Baja and north Alta that the claims are still being heard in both Mexico City and Washington DC.

The original San Diegan's were not Spanish but a mixture of white ship jumpers or rich sons arriving to buy up whatever they could.

In the case, of the Grants, they got the biggest house in town, overlooking the bay. They bought it for 25 thousand gold coins.

Gold in hand, they set themselves up in San Diego. Jesse went up the hill to Balboa Park and enjoyed himself with real estate.

Ulysses tried various venues with city offices before he bought a hotel, tore it down and rebuilt it naming it after his father Ulysses Grant Sr. 

It is still standing and the largest downtown, and still used by Presidents such as Trump for the ballroom activities. 

San Diego became a former Spanish town overnight instead the European city it once was. 

Wyat Earp had been in town as city sheriff, before the OK corral shootout when he went back.

His family were wagon trainers' homesteaders to San Bernadino. His brothers preferred the Wild West. 

History sometimes writes itself and sometimes is rewritten by those who hold the keys to the records. 

In the end, their speculations caught up with them with the 1929 collapse and Great depression.

They both married first east coast women with Manhattan apartments and lifestyles.

In the case of Ulysses, he remarried a Californian woman, as Vallejo had done.

A descendant of Mexico City, and Montezuma, a native princess. 

Her ancestors read like a history book of Conquistadors and vanquished princesses.

They lived comfortably and resettled to Clear Water, the last town not to be dismantled as San Diego.

Now known as Chula Vista which is supposed to be mean beautiful view, but is not spoken of as a pretty city but one of poverty. 

He is only remembered for having built a hotel in California and nothing else. 

What is a presidents son to do?

He can run for President himself but might not be accepted nor appreciated.

He can marry a princess but where will he live?

The Queen of diplomacy has died meanwhile Europe is preparing going to war

 Madeleine Albright was the first Secretary of State for the United States. 

While other countries had women in positions of power, the US has been reluctant to present women as capable to hold positions of power within their own government.

The First ladies were the ones leading the charge in overseas diplomacy, such as Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt and Jacqueline Kennedy.

Mrs. Albright broke the mold. And she did it with her own abilities. Her own unique ways of approach and then the world made it clear they had meet someone of dignity.

Hillary Clinton followed in her heels, attempting to make the same impression. She also successfully ran for President but did not receive the necessary electoral college to proceed.

What does the US have against women? They have always been necessary in America. Without them there would have been no America.

Many of them were heroes, such as Pocahontas and Sally Hemmings, paving the way of diplomacy and then being lost to history.

Britian had their first Iron lady in the form of Maggie Thatcher and Germany just lost their Angela Merkel who held court for 16 years, keeping her own country and others from going to war.

Whatever, contributions perceived by the world, Albright made a difference in the perceptions of the American press and the way the President was presented.

In more important ways, diplomacy became an important part of the way America and its President dealt with foreign powers.

Her reign as Queen spanned the old Soviet system and included many attempts to modernize other countries including Germany and Russia.

With her death, the powers are sojourning in Europe to discuss NATO's responsibilities.

The unthinkable has happened, Russia has gone to war against itself. 

Many can't believe Ukraine was ever separate from Mother Russia, but they felt their independence more important than allowing others to follow suit and separate themselves.

This is what we are being told, and it is still uncertain what has caused the situation which was probably building for a while. 

Why did Russia invade? According to the little bit we have gotten, it is due to the spy master's information. This is something we will never know for certain with the way that country in particular is stitched together.

We do know that the Ukrainians are targeting the highest-ranking military men, generals while their own people cry for mercy.

Nato is going to decide whether or not war crimes have been committed. 

Diplomacy is going to be needed not just because of the nuclear powers of both the large countries but because Russia is not going to go away. 

Isolating them behind another curtain is not the answer, so whatever sanctions that are used, it is not going to be useful unless the outcome includes a unified peaceful Europe.

This scrimmage as some have called it between the same people, will not unravel the country that has survived all other attacks for a millennium. 

For better or worse, Russia will be with America tomorrow and the day after and the day after that.

Diplomacy needs to be used in order to decide how far sanctions are going to be used and to just sit down and find out what is really going on over there besides mud slinging.

The Queen is being laid to rest just as her years of wisdom could be used the most, keeping the world from slinging more than injurious barbs at each other.

 Another year, another spring and 

well, well,

another war or is it a misunderstanding between neighbors?

Another way of reading the news, 

with everyone still name calling

instead of stating the facts.

Just the facts, please, maam.

Friday, I believe was his name, the FBI agent who visited people's homes every week with a new case.

Here we are with a new President still in his honeymoon stage, a Catholic

his tunning vice president, a woman with a Jewish husband.

And an old Russian orthodox guy who still thinks he is president.

Bad case of nerves is what some would say any leader would have at this point.

Mr. Putin is getting it from all sides about this war.

They would not leave him alone about Hillarie's panties being in a bind, 

and how unfair it was for him to decide against her and all that.

I know hacking occurs but have my doubts, he seriously cared whether or not it was Trump or not.

He lost his wife, and his youth. His daughters dont even visit him.

He spends his holidays alone by the fireside or off to the woods with his war buddies.

At least he does not have a cat as in the Bond movies to really make him the bad guy.

Finally, he gets to go to the big show and show his support at the Rally 

only to have him cut off by some musician guy.

What the Hell! 

This guy just got nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, guys, 

stand down and give him his time at the mike.

Oh, and that little guy who thought he would get a law degree and then go off and be a comic.

Look mom no hands!

He decided to perform on the piano with his pants down and hands up.

It sounded good, and it was censored.

He got to be on dancing with the stars, and he meet a real beauty.

He married himself a writer or reporter.

He now has two kids and a new job.

His Soviet engineer mother must be proud.

He got elected as President of Ukraine instead of appointed by the Communist party.

And his father is a professor at the University.

Well, he is done quite well for himself, 

kind of like seeing JFK, Jr. getting his law degree

and then publishing a magazine as a spoof on politics.

He finally got married but then his plane went down with his wife.

Sad farewell. 

They never did find his body.

Here we are another year older, and my grandmothers Hazels birthday 

coincides with the Spring Equinox, not Saint Patricks day.

Trips to the beach are required or at least a visit to the gardens.

Paris was her destination of choice for March or April.

But everyhting has been shut down for almost two years.

Due to the Pandemic and she lived through the Spanish Influenza.

They are in the middle of elections.

That other little guy with the schoolteacher wife,

he isn't giving in and is going to run again.

He had everything go wrong, 

shootings at news agencies, 

Syrian refugees showing up at the border,

protests in the streets disturbing the peace and traffic.

A nasty virus shutting down the museums and even the outdoor cafes for a whole year.

He even allowed the Notre Dame to be set on fire and almost burn down!

He was seen welcoming the crowd from Japan for the Olympics in 2024

from the Eiffel tower.

The Eiffel tower has decided to grow twenty feet taller, with a new antenna attachment.

One never knows what is going to happen next. 

Another Spring is upon us, and the Druids have been busy.

Let's wait see, who gets elected next and how this is all going to work out. 

Hopefully for the best!

And another Spring will be upon us

for yet another renewal of hope and spirit.

A Day at the Beach

The sun is out and shining.

The sounds of people having the enjoyment of their lives.

They are enjoying themselves.

They are alive.

And they want everyone to know it.

In the middle of the Pandemic, we were warned off the beaches and the trials.

We could not go anywhere except necessary trips to the grocery stores and the doctors.

Then they got permission to go outside again and found they had put on weight.

They all joined gyms or clubs and went on diets. 

It was not enough.

They wanted to live and breathe.

They wanted to be Californians again.

They wanted their beaches, their swimsuits and their watersports.

What they really wanted was to sit down and make others appreciate that they were in California.

California lifestyles are unique.

French Rivera lifestyle is also different.

And nothing is like Hawaii.

But there is a time and place for everything under the sun.

Pandemic was a time to stay at home.

Vaccinations and masks off meant the people could play again.

And then came the sudden catastrophe of the Ukraine and the Russians.

Everyone thinks they know what is going on but  no one knows why it happened.

Separatists and rebels are things of the past and so are strong arm measures.

What is going on is one country is complaint while another is being annoying.

Which is right will be determined when it is over and has been properly investigated.

We hope, when does one country have the right to cross over the border and when is it not wrong? 

I have not been to the beach in almost a year due to the difficulties of travel.

I grew up near the beach all my life but I am not a beach bumm.

I believe in nature and mediatiion to god.

Not lustfulness and carelessness.

I made the journey to Pacific beach on the new trolley extention.

It was not bad getting off and boarding a bus and traveling down the old highway.

Many came to us, just to have us drive them to the ocean.

It was an old familiar path and there it was the ocean blue.

I live just a few miles from the Marina but cant see anything all due to all the tall buildilngs.

I walked a short ways under the old pier on Grand Ave.

Crystal Pier was once a ball room out on the Pacific.

The train came to town and people trumped down to the pier not the beach to dance the night away.

Now it is a long pier with cottages upon it. 

I walked under it thinking of the times I got trapped as a child with the rise of the tide.

Once clear i went back up the stairs and made my bad leg worse.

To sit and drink coffee while reflecting over the beach and the rise of the ocean while considering what is on the other side.

Really, it is Asia where many have gone to fight.

But most of us think of Europe a little further.

And right now it is the conflict over a small piece of territory on the Black Sea.

A long fought for piece of property in that area of the world but not usually by ourselves.

One cup of coffee and a ten minute walk on a beach my parents once owned a house visited by others who had never been to the Pacific ocean.

I could even see the neighborhood and where we once played us children of a couple who were then destroyed by a saboteur named Jim.

Small boys with dreams of living with mom and dad in California instead being sent away over and over again.

A broken back and difficulty walking with a bad leg.

No one wants to see me anymore, no longer the sweet young thing.

Really, they just wanted to use my family with the old east coast connections.

And then there are all those little bastards who will never be real little princesses.

No matter who they speak to nor how many times they say it in their heads.

Despite every judge and doctor telling them otherwise, none of them want to speak the truth.

They are all lying about being adults and none of them can get off the drugs they are on.

Sad a day at the beach should not include another confrontation of the two hundred plus girls along who are lying about being my daughter when all the others wanted was a for me not to be chosen.

Of course,  I was the only one who studied or walked to school, passed my courses or attempted to work.

As I made my way home, having picked up a few food items, I was also sure I would be robbed.

These girls have all been trained to steal from me if I take myself out at all. If I spend money on myself.

I have been carjacked and had my suitcases stolen just because I wont feed them. I cant when I was never the one pregnant.

Nor will they acknowledge as adults that they are wrong. Instead, they continue molesting and abusing the same individual who did nothing at all to them. 

Just another day at the beach. To be robbed and raped for nothing at all, but the animosity of strangers. 

Waiting two weeks after my birthday, to go visit my favorite beach because of this war, was a challenge.

I had to get up early and travel downtown from the valley they set me inside.

I sat patiently at the newer pier waiting while the bicyclist lined up.

When the guy came out and handed out his tickets, I got in line and accepted my own free ticket.

They pay people to show up for the commuter ferry, by giving them a free ticket back!

The old fashioned feeling of a ferry and water under my feet. The waves gently shifting the boat as we have a short trip across the bay.

It was actually the old boat, that my own family once used when we collected the ferry money of a quarter for each trip.

And then a woman showed up with her babies and they had to breast feed at the hour of the morning and in the middle of a bunch of serious bicyclists.

Outside was the only other woman without a bicycle or a baby. Fresh air in our faces.

Once at the landing, I had to walk because the local bus no longer services until 10 AM.

But a sort walk is the other bus which services teh strand and I was all the way down to the only real resort of the area.

Movies and commercials are made on its beaches.

It is one of the richest places to go and my family used to be able to afford it occasionally.

Now I am broke and getting free rides at an earlier than usual hour.

What a difference a day makes.

Everyone was in a high hum of delight and then some.

They were dressed nice not beach wear and seemed to be celebrating the news from overseas.

Getting my coffee from one of really nice extras was almost too difficult with the women making me feel my Anne Klien shoes were not good enough.

Making it to the actual beach where they are a few benches just to watch the sea at large.

All those years flown by and my family once more young and hopeful.

They even played it out for me, a woman and a girl were yelling for another girl.

Then the father began to yell until the men from the tables came down to find the girl who had drifted into a group of other children.

Just as my family, walking by with his hand firmly on the younger girl's hand and sweating the man reminded me of my father. While the woman waddled with him, very pronounced at maybe nine months pregnancy walking with the older girl.

My mother was always pregnant. My sister and I were born first and are the only girls in the family.

My mother had boys who disappeared as fast as they arrived and then she was pregnant again.

Those boys would come back and sit around me, waiting for me to remember them, I wasnt supposed to recall them at all. 

It was not allowed by Jim and his girlfriends who were planning World War three one day.

I was remembering my sister had been removed by one of the ladies who were refusing to leave my mother alone since she was a child and promised things because her mother was on the radio.

Her mother lost her job and career and so did my father because they were lying to her as these children are lying to me about being my daughters, all they want is a princess title.

It was pleasant to watch the three cruise ships stuck out at sea and waiting to be allowed to dock at a time of crisis.

Meanwhile a few yachts went by and there a number of millionaires with boats docked inside the bay.

Wonder if any of them are wanted? Most of them probably are free and clear.

They don't have to worry as they go to pay for a two-scoop ice cream from a real ice cream parlor why there are not enough bills in the wallet.

They don't get charged for things others decide are not theirs to have nor do they have to worry about going to their gym which is just the YMCA as to who is not going to want them in the same pool with them.

All those years my family were followed by crybabies now known as terrorists. All they wanted, was to know us and the replace us and they left us with nothing.

Just a day at eh beach for these imposters from Germany who came to destroy those who caused them to fail during the war.

Thier children are the best weapon. They just give in and they don't go away. They also refuse to be told no but continue to rob and rape.

Impossible situation. No where to go and no way out.

Now everyone wants to party.

They are enjoying the plight of the war in Russia.

These people are crazy, always anti-Russian not knowing they live in a Russian community.

The rich news guys are covering the news as if they have no money.

The refugees robbed all the cash from the ATMs.

Then they left town. Free rides out of town. Private jets to Israel.

A party of four tickets to Mexico City for a family who have nowhere else to go.

Everyone wants to come to America.

They believe they can live free and in other peoples homes.

I am both native American and a descendant of the first arrivals in San Diego as well as the old Russians who came by themselves and set up fishing villages and the French who simply walked around without setting up markers for their properties. 

I have had my fourth tooth explode.

My car accident included my face being crushed by the air bag. My jar was cracked or at least the teeth are coming out one by one on each side.

One more time, the dentist does not want me in their office nor the American Indian health center. even being denied my own ethnicity. While others walk in and get treated.

I decided to go to the third beach, Ocean beach where we used to play as well.

Originally called Wonderland, a beach amusement park just like San Fracisco's Playland.

Now, without the train, it is hard to get to and has been made over into an old hippie community when really it is just a bunch of scam artists.

It is also the location of one of the longest piers, opened by Governor Reagan before he  made President.

It was almost destroyed in the last big storm just as the amusement park was threatened with a few bad winters.

The surfers like this spot for the waves are just right, although Pacific beach is also a good spot.

There were actually people on the beach and surfers in the water.

I made my way down to the favorite breakfast spot from the past.

It was once the jailhouse and then a library.

But it has also been a breakfast spot. The right seat and one can eat and watch the surf unless a couple just hast to stand in your view.

My family often came here where they  had once been happy, a family of four children.

My father missed those days after he was booted out by Jim, his family, his children.

I finished my cup of coffee at the beach with my feet hanging off the wall.

Days ago my sister and I played together and got caught by mom. 

She told my sister I was her imaginary friend. Cute was my mother. 

I came back with a dog, the only one that I owned, not that anyone would leave him alone.

Memories and a day at the beach of my brothers playing in the sand or fishing off the pier.

When my father lost it all, he would just lay down and wait out his life, since there was nothing for him, after all those people came and took everything, leaving nothing for him. Just like now.

When did it all collapse?

Where did they all go?

Why were we so overindulged by bad people following us around?

Will the earth be blown up over a border dispute between two countries who have shared teh same language and religion for over a thousand years?

A Day at the beach, when America wants to celebrate the war in Russia. 

When they are happy to be through the Pandemic and not the ones dead.

Why should they mourn someone else's problems especially a guy they have been gunning for over something no one can explain?

He is not one of them nor someone they want, but another countries leader. And they don't like him.

It does not matter what his name is nor where he comes from. They don't like him.

Nor are they going to welcome him back at any time.

Good riddance. He may as well die, then survive.

No one in America wants him, not the news agencies, not the big movie stars, nor the little people on the street.

He only helped save the Western world when every other nation was trying to destroy us and them, but hey that was the past and there is a new generation on the red carpet, what do they care?

Oh well, what do they know about anything.

They have nothing to worry about except their neighbors, they just don't know that yet. 

Some day they might, like the woman lying dead in the street who worked at Silicon valley, the computer expert who can hack anything and any countries computers.

By the way, Honey, I know you are not coming home.

You left a long time ago and forgot we had gotten married.

I know you had a marriage license on me and watched me in my journalism days.

I did what I could to be a good wife, especially when you never wanted to live with me.

Why we got married is buried in the past, you were past your youth, and I was trying to get my crazy mother to respect me. 

She just moved in on you and stoled you from me, keeping you from being my husband. 

That little piece of paper always showed up when i wanted it not to and you would not sign anything to make it go away.

Now you have spent a decade in Espana with another woman.

Seven years is a common law marriage. You had to go Latina on me!

We never did live together but you were always there when I was little.

We grew up around each other and Ocean beach was one of the places you always showed up.

Well, I wont keep you from marrying the horse thief. 

I wont be able to come to the wedding, as I cant go to the Kingdom Hall.

Not anymore, after all those years of your complaints. 

But your little filly, has the same religion and I know it doesn't matter to you.

You are in love with her!

So marry her and allow me to have my life, what is left of it without my mother nor Jimmy.

Remember we meet in San Francisco, at the old Coffee house section on Geary street.

I wasn't allowed in the Catholic churches and had to attend the Russian Orthodox schools.

It was not a bad life nor do i regret it, except it included those lost boys, and him.

We were once a nice couple and friends for life.

Let's stay friends and not become enemies.

I was going to tell you I was alright and had found someone else.

The same guy you stoled me from all those years ago, resurfaced, now divorced.

A fifteen-year-old in love is trouble and he was forced to marry another.

While a seventeen-year-old was ripe for the taking and you managed to convince me you would protect me for life.

I got a chance to visit three of my favorites this last week and was saddened by the experience.

I was also missing money, almost did not have enough for breakfast.

I would like to catch the thief; it happens every month.

Some day, life will go back to normal.....

Someday, there will not be a war on the other side of the world affecting my life.

Someday, Jimmy will be dead.

And then I will have my day at the beach!

We knew you were not aware when you said you would help them, that they would come to us and expect us to take care of them.

All those horrible pictures of the refugees having to leave their land.

Americans are used to leaving everything behind. Thats how they got here in the first place and then the environment is not kind. Those tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes and then the natives getting restless and burning everything down.

They know how to pick up and move on or at least retreat for a while and then go back to start over.

The Europeans have a funny attitude about leaving their homes. Most have spent at least a hundred years in the same community, maybe more in their families.

It is astounding to Americans, who have done nothing but move, move and then move again.

It is called relocating and making it despite the odds.

Here they come, crying to us, after most of their ancestors kicked us out in the first place.

The Hundred years war for instance, was a war of religion where they hunted down good bible reading people.

Quakers, Huguenots, and even Jewish people came to America to get away from communities that did not want them.

Everybody in Europe asks, how is it to live in America?

They think it is Disneyland where one gets to make a wish and have it come true.

They want to come to one of the hardest to live in countries and then be given a place to stay and a job as well as an education and even stardom in some cases.

Now the Ukrainians who no one really dislikes unless your name is Melanie Trump have had to pick up their belongings and put them in nice clean suitcases and leave the only place they know as home.

Millions have fled their own homeland, a place for over a thousand years has been theirs to call home.

They have endured many things including the takeover by the Germans, than the Communists and Soviets. 

Finally, getting their freedom, they deny it to others. They want out, not war.

So, they have come, in less than two weeks all the way from southern Europe, hundreds of miles to the borders of Poland and Germany. 

Only to be found, knocking at the gates of Southern California. How did they get here from over there?

They spent all that time crying and walking to get free of a place now under threat of war. Got a free train trip out of town and then what?

Did they hop on a magic carpet or something? They have suddenly arrived in Mexico asking for asylum to America. 

We knew they would come but how did they do it? Where free flights also made available to them?

How did they get through the airlines hoops to get across the Atlantic?

And without vaccination cards. Those who arrived not in New York city with free access to immigration, nor Mexico city where they must have landed but out of the desert on the very border that Trump was beat down about.

His border war has been approached by those whom we know nothing about except that they come from a war torn country. Fleeing with their belongings and passports but not the free vaccinations available to everyone.

Mexico has a new law requiring vaccinations, and these people claim they don't have the requirements. 

How is that possible, did not Ukraine get any of the Russian free medicines?

I still want to know how they  made it from Mexico city and on foot.

We have seen the migrants from Central America takes weeks and with rides to get to teh border, one reason that wall was being erected, to keep them out.

Here they are at the border. It takes about three days by bus from Mexico city or a little less by car without all the stops.

But there are also half a dozen military zone inspections to go through on the rode up towards Mexicali and Tijuana. 

How or how did they manage it? Did they really ride the bus and speak Russian to those men with machine guns?

Now they want asylum from their country and in less than two weeks, in fact, they began to arrive last week, within five days the immigration says. 

They don't look like "homeless" people. They have suitcases and clothes and perhaps a little bit of money in their wallet.

What they don't have is a way to live, no source of income without using the American system nor a place to stay.

It is not as if they were invited directly to the US by Immigration or Refugee programs.

Not even the White House would have them come through the San Diego port of entrance. 

Now what are they going to do? They don't appear to be drug dealers, nor human traffickers, nor even terrorists.

They want a new life in America, and they come on their own from a country which suddenly erupted into violence without warning.

We are expected to take them in instead of sending them packing back to the big country. 

How I wish those Berliners had been forced to go back to Germany when the wall came down instead od continuing to squat on other peoples properties.

There is almost no place left for them except homeless shelters.

The authorities will probably not tell them to live on the streets because their house has become occupied by someone else.

Nor will they be evicted over not having a job nor told they are not good enough because they don't have a college degree.

They will be allowed to arrive by the back door, instead of proper channels and offered a chance at humanity.

More than is being offered a man who is probably not guilty of being the cyber nut everyone claims.

That woman was killed on the streets was part of the Silicon valley computer geeks who know how to hack computers along with her children.

It looks like murder occurred more than an accidental shooting, but no one is going to investigate

They already have their culprit. The only one they will ever name and might not be as guilty as they claim.

To our community, it does not look the same as when my grandparents were alive and it was a residential community that the Windsor's, a newly married couple were brought to tour and walk down the streets of what is called East Village. 

It was a village, and it was also home to Russian refugees. Most of them were forced out by the Germans and Italians. 

The streets are filthy and there are no more homes left, nor schools, churches nor libraries and all those other niceties.

You will find handouts and lots of people wanting to be your friends.

Listen to the government authorities and you might survive not being made into a human trafficking victim. 

Three refugees need shelter, - "FOR SALE", one space station, cheap ....

 By executive order there is at least one little astronaut who might never get home.

He is being threatened about being left behind. The problem is that the American space program no longer services the space station only the Russians have license to dock there.

Therefore, any attempt by the Americans to fly near the space station might be considered a declaration of war on the part of the US to Russia.

The same applies for the landing site inside Kazakstan. It is inside the no flight zone.

By executive order of the American President, Americans can't not fly there, nor the Russians fly out of the area.

So if the astronaut does land as scheduled in a now war zone as an American, he will do so behind enemy lines. He might be taken as prisoner of war and he might be allowed to walk out.

It is a long walk in any direction from Kazakhstan and there will be no ubers or lyfts going for him nor any marines nor special forces.

So much for being a retired colonel and getting a chance of a lifetime of going into Outerspace. 

He will have decided if he is still on active duty or not and then if he is able to navigate on his own, because i don't think they will be giving out directions.

As for the other little guy from Sevastopol, that cosmonaut has no place to go home. His entire home area is under attack.

In fact, he might be taken hostage as the first prisoner of war, as a Ukrainian on board a Russian space craft.

It is the one big Russian cosmonaut who has the real problem. He is now flying with an enemy Ukrainian and a possible non friendly American. Either of them could turn on him or join forces.

All he has to is hold his own for another three weeks until the Russian crew docks at the Space Station.

Or he could phone home and ask for immediate extraction.

That would require a rocket at a time when everyone is nervous and a little bit busy deciding which side they are on and whether or not they are actually going to shoot at each other.

My self, i would find a nice neutral party. Like the Queen. She is a nice person. Really, she is and she is celebrating her 70 Jubilee. 

I am sure she is a little bit board and would welcome a little diversion. And Boris would probably love a diversion at this point away from those party hat discussions.

Australia has a nice welcoming desert and has been used by the Americans in the past to land their pieces of junk. 

Maybe the Russians with a little bit of niceness, might agree to land the three unfortunate refuges in a designated neutral zone where both parties can fly to pick them up.

You know they have a friend coming to visit them down under, that crazy Russian adventurer Konyukhov is scheduled to dock sometimes soon in Sydney. 

He has been traveling the Pacific on nothing but solar panels. I wonder if he has phoned home, in the Crimea.

Dear American Astronaut, have you ever heard of Roanoke?

 To the American Astronaut, Mark Vand He, who is still cooperating with his Russian companions, he may not be coming home, and he may not want to come home.

He has apparently not heard there is a war between Ukraine and Russia, and he was supposed to have understood and made the decision to stop cooperating with his fellows on the Space Station.

I know it is a very small space but it is imperative to get along with the American agenda. 

No one is allowed to step aside, even I had a weird message on a bus today from an African man wearing a US Navy hat, go ahead lady. That is all he said, but he was looking right at me. I just want to know what I am being accused of having committed.

Anyways, you  might not know it yet, you really are not supposed to be eating, sleeping and breathing the same foul air as these guys who are part of the country making complaints very loudly on the ground.

I would really consider twice before getting into that little space rocket with them. It might not be a safe place you land, and you   might not be seeing America again very soon. 

Russia just arrested an American female sports star on her way back from one of those international games. 

Fair is fair. 

One could always hold out hope and if one side does go ahead of punch that little red button, you could then be the lone survivor way out their in space.

Would that make you the President?

If everyone in the Oval office gets wiped out and the Capital hill, as the last official government person on earth. Would you then qualify for the office of President? 

We will have to check the Constitution and see if it works out in your favor, if you refuse a ride with your little Russian friends.

He might have had a small breakdown.

A walk down a local beach showed that the Americans are enjoying themselves and almost partying at fancy resorts and really enjoying the discomfort of the guy who thought he would pull the plug on Hillary.

It is so sad, she would not have allowed this to happen.

And one day you were going to move back in, since your parents were reunited at the end of the war and went back home to boring California. They even had a new place for your mother to make her radio announcements, some place called Hollywood. 

It was not London, and it did not have a palace at your command!

He had to wait until after he went off to fight in a foreign place called Korea. Finally, he came home and at nearly thirty your started your life together.

You went on to have half a dozen pregnancies, not to mention how many of those came out fine and how many got sent back to where they came from.

But Jim was not one of them, and I am afraid he refused his own father's insistence on leaving you alone, and kept trying to make you give him the right to be a permanent resident at Buckingham Palace.

After all we went through for you, you went and left my father laying in a hospital bed right after an eye operation just so Jim could know what it meant to be given the opportunity to step foot inside.

Of course, you knew she was gone and did not know she would catch you trying to reaccess the property. 

I am told Jim never got over the idea of stepping on the Queens property and showed  up everywhere she went assuming he had been given an invitation.

I hear they arrested a guy with a cross bow at Windsor, and I happen to think that it is one of the prettiest of the Castles and my favorite, so I hope Jim gets shot on sight he crosses that bridge.

When my father did wake up and had his eyes back, he was in a different place and none of us got to go back home the way everyone intended. 

I know you cried for three days after his death was announced. Thats is why you and him are buried together up there in that Rose garden overlooking the old town of Franklin.

It was the best I could do, and you seemed to prefer that spot to the others your family wanted.

At least, you can look out over the valley and up at the mountains while plucking at those rose roots.

I remember you used to sing "I never promised you a Rose Garden", and even though my father attempted to give you everything, you just always wanted your way with him before giving in.

I am sorry you are both gone, and the day Jim breaths his last breath he will not be joining you, your non adopted son who was really a stalker and a scammer of the worst kind.

Anyway, there was some misunderstanding and this Jewish playboy comedian went and got elected President, his parents were former Soviet Engineers and things.

He is now complaining because his country is being surrounded just because he did not want to let go of that little bit of land right next to the Sea of Azarov.

Of Course, your guy Putin, who was never going to amount to anything, but woke up one day with him as President of Russia,  would not pass up a chance of a seaport so close to his country becoming available to him and well, he has circled the wagons around the smaller country.

Not to worry, they got those nasty nuclear plants under control, even the ones that were set on fire. It is just a matter of days before the former rebels allow the new freedom seekers their rights.

And then everything will settle down again. No harm done. After all, this last Pandemic has killed more lives than this little insurrection. 

Maybe most of them are better off, more than a million and a half have been allowed to leave without papers nor payment to other countries as refugees. 

A better life for all, if that little fellow survives his ordeal.

I recall, your grandmother said she had "tea" with Eisenhower's mother once after the war. Since her daughter had made announcement of the war on the radio, the other ones had become President, and she was making a statement about how worried her little man was about that Sea now that Stalin had decided to go the other direction and no longer be allies.

I do wonder, what the Sea of Azarov has to do with anything but ancient history. It was the Scythians center and a few other major Empires such as the Huns chosen spot for their ships.

 For the love of a woman, an entire nation is willing to go to the brink of extinction.

It is said she was so beautiful that no man could have her and yet her beauty won the head of the King of Sparta and the Prince of  Troy.

Paris and Helen were in love and ran off to get away from the mean cruel king who only wanted one thing. Her body and soul. It is hard to say whom or what she really was, certainly she was important to someone or else the great king would not have bothered with her no matter what her charms.

Paris wanted his youthfulness to be satisfied and her desires are also uncertain, to question a king's decision to betray his back to flee his bed and into the arms of an unknown enemy.

As it turned out he sent his entire naval fleet against this not unknown city of its own repute. 

Troy must have been of importance in the Mediterranean or the offer to the prince would not have been extended nor his flight from completion.

Naval areas of the old world were controlled much more carefully than they are in modern days. 

It was highly unlikely they could have hidden a millionaires yacht in any harbor. Nor been able to cross even by dingy into the arms of any larger vessel.

Their flight was not unknown but also unheeded thus his title and his cities were thought to be worth the risk.

The entire known world or at least those in the area of what we know as Rome, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Babylon and Egypt the biggest and maddest of all the cruelest armies in the area. 

Everyone wanted to join the fight including the gods, who took an active part in some of their subject. There are various versions, but they say the war lasted ten years, a whole decade. 

And his family blamed her for the fate of the city which was once one of the finest. She was allowed to live among them until the death of her husband. 

In some stories she is forced to go home with her husband in others she herself is put to death. All for the love of a young couple who meet and wanted a life and yet their countries or cities were against them.

Beware of the Trojan Horse! In the end, the city fell after all the sieges and bombardments by the simple trick of sending in a wooden horse which contained the best of their warriors hidden inside. 

The innocent villagers brought it in and celebrated their success, allowing themselves to become victims to a cleverer madman. 

Was it worth it? Thier city was wiped off the face of the earth, and only recently discovered to have been real at all, while the young couple faded in people's minds except for fireside stories of the fairness of one single female course of action on an entire worldly community.

Forward march to our own beautiful and fair Hillary. 

She was one of the more advanced women, earning her own degree in law and her own place in history.

She was both wife, mother and woman of the people. 

Although many did not like it when she did not take care of herself and wore the wrong types of clothes or cut her hair they did like her words and her presence.

She made history in running for President of the Untied States and almost made it to the White house on her own carpet.

Like many before her, she failed to read the small print. It says she has to get the electoral vote and not just assume the popular vote is hers for the taking.

She is probably still a very fine person and really good diplomat but what kind of President we will never know.

She instead caused riots and protests in Washington DC to occur during the entire Trump administration.

The final outcome was the taking of the Capital itself, attributed to Trumps carelessness, but really is he the bad king of Sparta? Is she really the cause of Troy going to war over her falling for a young fair young man of great charms?

It is still too early to tell, as the further results was the really bad guy cast in this deal was not the guy who would not give up the Oval Office Chair for a lady nor matter what she misread the words in her American government class on civics.

But the really bad lone wolf from across the even bigger sea in Russia. Always cast as the bad guys, from the time of the Russ, who not mentioned in the Greeks stories but did exist and must have played a hand in keeping everyone else at bay until the Huns took over pillaging.

But they have always been the big bad wolf, from the times when Kiev was the most dangerous city on the Danube just above the Greek Islands, to the move to Moscow way out of the way of anyone except well-seasoned winter types. 

Even then Moscow was burnt down so many times it is hard to say what it looked like, and even Hitler attempted to take its other main city of Saint Petersburg. 

These guys never do learn, the Tsars took over from the Boyars, or they moved into travel and trade by water to land to air. The people of the land did not like being serfs but did not have to stay any more than any other community, but it was their land.

They complained so much, that they began killing off the Tsars, and what good did that do? All they got was a group of German based Marxist Fascist cruelest who ruled the area with an Iron Fist. 

The people got tired of these, instead of assassinating them, they tried other things including coups and poisonings. They finally got their Iron Curtain down and ran around declaring themselves free and independents.

All these did was make their lives more miserable, they could now travel and act out as they really wanted. What do these people want? They want not to be told what not to do, but to have everything their own way.

It does come at a cost, and with our modern war weapons, they should know as Paris and Helen not to tempt fate by asking for too much trouble. 

Previously there were many different ethnic groups and called themselves communities or countries, some of these people want their own independence and some nations forget that just as they themselves got freedoms that others want their own way of life without having to pay for the past wrongs of a people never satisfied. 

Any Historian knows their words are never good enough and assuming the same story is being told at the same time is also never certain but really where is the world going with all this condemnation.

One group say they want out of one more situation and another willing to support their move. Unwilling to stay at home and nowhere else to go, they simply want out or is it what is really going on?

Ukraine has always been special to some of us as far away from the corruption of the Moscow politicians, which killed off Tsars and Soviet Leaders and maybe even a few Patriarchs. 

They claim all innocence in their desire not to be attacked but also did not comply immediately when asked to let their neighbors go freely.

What is the issue, are they guilty or are they being betrayed?

The issue is whether or not this guy named Putin is at all the guilty man they world media makes him out to be.

They claim he could not stand the sight of Hillary so much he made sure she did not win the election but instead of caused the greatest nation in the world to have their voting results corrupted.

Imagine that the greatest country in the world, the smartest and what but they can't get their own voting results right. Nor can they read their own constitution and know when to shut up about it all. 

Instead, the media itself is launching everything they have towards this country which has had everything taken away from it over and over again.

No one like the little communist bitches running around America false claiming to real authorities instead of criminals just wanting more corruption.

No one wants a world dictator who will shoot his own mother or daughter for disobedience as many in the old days did.

And no one wants a nuclear war brought to our shores.

But was it really such a big thing for the media to stop their own assault for over a decade now, over a little issue of misunderstanding who does and does not win the Presidency?

They claim it is his fault and have thrown everything at him. They would not even let his athletic team paly fairly at the Olympics.

Instead, they went after him when he at least showed up while his neighbor refused to show up at all, already throwing down the rampart of war towards his peaceful napping.

They kept after the doping issue and everyone knows that drugs are all Americans want when they travel, in fact the only reason they want the Mexican border our long-known enemy is for their freedom of drugs to pursue for themselves.

They even made little Camilla cry and have to go home without a medal, they were so mean, why did she show up anyways?

Really, it was just heart medicine, not pain killers or inhalers with steroids. 

Now they are prepared to publish assumptions without fully understanding when and where this all started.

No end in sight. for the man who might not be guilty but where would Biden be today if Hillary had sat down in the Oval Office? He would not be giving his first address to the Congress tonight because she would still be there holding on to her desk.

She might have stood for justice and innocence and may have defended unwelcome religions and introduced unknown persons in her time period.

But like anyone else, once that power is theirs is unlikely to give it up and there would have been no reason for her to move over for a new lady to occupy the White House.
